The results from Day two of the Utah Handcycle Omnium are in....Will Lachenauer continued to ride strong with the overall and H2 win, while Anjii Hanson, Niel Harding, and Tony Pedeferri won their respective categories. Full results...including and Omnium ranking after two stages (keep your eye on the race between Cornwall/Massey in the H2 category, and Conway/Ackerman in the H3 category), are posted HERE.
Sanchez, Davis win Hardware in Canada

Racing at the 2010 UCI Para Cycling World Championships kicked off today, with a time trial in Baie Comeau, Canada. On the handcycling side, Oz Sanchez continues his unbeated streak (since Beijing, 2008) in the Time Trial with yet another world title in that discipline. In the women's race, former winter Paralympian , Muffy Davis of Park City, UT surprised a lot of folks and posted a great time, claiming a sliver medal in her first international cycling competition (and only her third major handcycle race ever).
H2 Americans, Matt Updike and David Randall finished 7th and 10th respectively. Updike -- who was just one second out of 6th -- had the honor of the being the first rider of the day, and made no excuses. "It's a hard course and I definitely went out too hard...I blew up on the big hill and didn't have it at the end."
The women were the heroes of the day for the U.S. with more medals in the standing categories from Allison Jones, Greta Neimanas, and Barb Buchan.
